Owen Donohoe

Kansas jobs are worth saving.

Kansas families deserve a strong advocate for small businesses.

Gary Rogers, developer of Woodsonia West retail center at K-7 and Johnson Drive, said he “could not believe how hard Owen Donohoe worked to keep these businesses open.”

With construction of an interchange limiting access to his new retail center, Gary Rogers’ tenants were trying to preserve customers and jobs. Eminent domain by a public utility threatened the center, and Gary needed help. “We were getting nowhere,” says Gary. “I didn’t know Owen, but when I called him, he went the extra mile,” explains Gary. “He was completely concerned about small business, and he wanted to save these jobs. I was impressed with his ability to ask probing questions of all the parties and get results.”

When Owen says he’s committed to helping small businesses, this is what he means. Jobs created by private businesses are the best way to put our communities and state back on track. That’s why Owen opposed tax increases, red tape and additional spending in the legislature that hurt our economy. Please support Owen’s efforts to keep fighting for good jobs, lower taxes and reducing the massive debt for our children and grandchildren. More about small business >>
